Ac does not blow cold at times e60 Ac blower come on but have to hit reset button 3-4 times before cold air comes - BMW 2007 530i Sport question.
Hi I have a 1999 Ford F-150. A few years ago my AC stopped working. The vents blow air just fine but it’s just not cold air. I have added R134a refrigerant and saw the compressor begin to engage properly. It worked and blew cold air but within a few days to a week at most the air stopped being cold. I also noticed a smell inside the cab of
Good evening. I own a 2000 BMW 740i Sport. I developed the typical heater control valve issue where the drivers side of the dash vents blow COLD air and the rest blow warm when set to a warm setting. … read more
A/C not working Temporarily My 2006 330xi has been doing this for years. After about 40 minutes of continual use, the volume of air starts decreasing and then eventually stops blowing cold air. Just a moderate amount of cool but not cold air. On a hot day this sucks. But then after about 10 minutes it starts up again like nothing was ever wrong.
AC pressure test NOT informative diagnostic in E60/E61. The troubleshooting by pressure measurement described in the following is only possible on A/C systems with uncontrolled compressors. This includes among others: E53. E46M47 up to 09/2001.
Then make sure you manually turn the fan and temps up ( do not use "auto" button ). With the back dial turned up to the red, wait a few seconds and hot air should start blowing. Mine seems to blow cold air in the back unless I have the above setting on my climate control, then it blows hot air. I figured this out when my wife sat in the back
Depending on the can size it take between 5 and 15 minutes to empty. So after about 5 close the nozzle and see where you are on the pressure gauge. If the can begins to feel empty turn it upside down for a couple seconds. Once finished pop off the quick connector and close the cap and the hood.

Good point. I think I will need to use an alcohol based A/C flush.

Per my BMW Genius appt last week: it changes the temp of the air blowing from that vent by +/- 5 degrees. So it you have your climate control set to 70 and you turn it all the way blue, the air from that vent will be approx 65 degrees. All the way red and it will be approx 75 degrees.
The most common symptoms of a bad blend door actuator are problems with your car’s air conditioning controls and strange noises coming from the air vents. The centre vent is set to cold, the temperature on both sides is set to 16c. The temperature out of the upper and lower vents is hotter than the centre vents. With the AC on max, fan speed at its highest

I drive a Lexus GS300 2002 and the A/C is great and I never have had a problem with itand the 4 BMW that I test drove never work as well as my Lexus.
The heat vents are under the front seats, facing the back. The vents on the back of the seats are A/C vents. Normally, if you have the air distribution set on automatic (which I assume in cold weather would be delivering air to the floor vents), there shouldn't be much air coming from those vents. If you have air delivery mode forced to the
